Doggie

Yesterday, we went to Michaels to look for something, but because of where we parked, we had to walk past a Petco. It turns out that there was a dog rescue group having an adoption fest there. We were just going to walk by and glance at the couple of dogs in front of the store. Instead, we were inexorably drawn in. Inside, they had maybe twenty dogs of all kinds.

We had wanted a dog for a long time, but we had thought we shouldn't get one because we won't be able to spend a lot of time during the day.

We changed our minds. If we wait till we can spend every day with a dog, we may be retired! We went ahead and applied for adoption today.

I wasn't sure what kind of a blog this was going to be, but maybe this will become a heavily dog-centric one. Stay tuned.
